This is not the first mermaid to be created at the Happy studio, it might actually be the fourth one and it is definitely the best one so far!
It took weeks and weeks of dedicated studio time for Shani to create this full body gorgeous lady. Just after putting the last touch to her tail, turned to Anaick and said:
-'That's it, she's done!'
We were so excited and relieved to see her finished that we both cried!
We called friends to share our joy and it was quite obvious that in our excitement, we were not making very much sense!
Anaick spent over 5 hours carefully applying 4 different glazes to the scales and a special effect of glaze to give the illusion of water on her skin as she has just come out of the sea.
Mermaid is one of the first fully resolved pieces to come out of the Happy studio and a great testimony of the teamwork happening at its heart.
