Create your own house portrait as a candle holder in the Happy studio and add something truly personal to your home decor. 

All tools, materials, tuitions and 1 kiln firing included.

What to expect: 

This booking is for a private workshop for one person. You chose the day/time of your workshop, depending on availability.

You will learn how to sculpt a house in clay and add details to your creation. Your teacher will show you how to build the walls, roofs and floor one easy step at a time, making sure that you create a sculpture you can truly be proud off. Then, you will have time to add details for a completely personal creation.

it is important that you send Anaïck a picture of your house so she can prepare stencils for each part of the building ahead of the workshop. 

Anaïck is a sensitive teacher with over 30 years experience of delivering fully planned and supportive lessons in mainstream education. She has transferred all her skills and specialist training into her ceramic workshops and leads happy, calm and sympathetic sessions in her happy studio.

This workshop is for anyone aged 6 and over and includes one kiln firing. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. It is worth considering booking a private ‘friends and family’ workshop if you have at least 1 person under 18 in your group.

Your house will need a few weeks to dry fully and be fired in the kiln and we will advertise on our website and social media when they are ready to collect. At that point it will be mat and white in colour. You can then take it home and decorate it with acrylic or other paints. We think they would look great with a decoupage decoration.

If you prefer to, you will be able book a further workshop to come back and glaze your house and enjoy the complete ceramics experience.
