In this blogpost, we are going to regularly add our favourite places on the island.

Obviously, our list will grow as we go as there are many places we love here and we would like you to discover them all. however, we have to start somewhere so, in no specific order, here we go:

The Chiswell Walled Garden is also often called 'The Secret Garden' and we just love knowing that almost everybody who visits the island has to drive past this little gem and yet, many do not even realise it it there. 

It is a gorgeous, quiet, quintessentially English floral heaven tended to by a dedicated team of volunteers who will even serve you homemade cakes and afternoon tea on Saturdays and Sundays when the weather allows. (12.00 - 4.00pm in Spring, Summer and early Autumn)

You will find it as you drive to leave the island on Chiswell (Yes, that is the name of the street too), on your left, pass the turn off for the Cove House Inn, pass the Beach House but just before the Ocean Bay take away. I am not going to tell you more as the pleasure resides in finding it after all.
